OnSched API & dashboard 3.22.0 — Ignore availability on create and hold

Ignore availability

POST /v3/appointment and POST /v3/appointment/hold now accept the query flag ignoreAvailability (alias ignore_availability, default false). When true, the API creates the appointment or hold even if the slot is outside hours, overlaps another appointment or an external calendar block, is over capacity, or fails a service quota or customer booking limit.

The flag is for authenticated company-scoped callers only (Machine Token or Dashboard JWT). /v3/public/appointment and /v3/public/appointment/hold reject true with 403. Holds store CustomFields.ignoreAvailability so PUT /v3/appointment/{id}/book keeps skipping those checks. PUT /confirm does not re-validate availability.

See Appointments and Ignore Availability.
